*The Epoch appears, Dally hops out, and it disappears again before Dal goes into the house.*
“Howdy Skye, how’re you doing?”

Skye hears Dally’s footsteps, and as she walks through the doorway, she looks up from the little book in her hands. “Dally! I’m glad you made it. I... could be better, honestly, but I’m ready.” She gives a small smile. “How are you?”

*Dal returns the smile.* “I’m doing okay, I’m honestly just really glad to be here to help you.”

“Me too. This isn’t exactly a, um... joyous occasion to gather together, but I’m glad to have friends to help stop Errol.”

“Yeah.” “We’ll get this done as soon as we can and then we’ll be able to have a joyous reason to get together.”

Her smile brightens. “I certainly hope so. I’m looking forward to all of this being over. It’ll be nice to wake up not feeling anxious like this.”

“We’ll get it, don’t worry!” “You’ve got a pretty great team here if I do say so myself!”

Skye lets out a short laugh. In spite of the situation, she seems more joyful than that evening at the inn. “I couldn’t agree more! And I know that I can trust everyone here. As... sad as I am all of this happened with Errol, I’ve met some really great friends in Offtopic. I don’t think I can express how thankful I am for that.”

“Even the worst situations can lead to some good and I’m glad you’ve managed to find it.”
