There were emblems that came over from D1 I'm pretty sure. There are emblems for marking certain historic moments in the game.
Might not be everything you're looking for but there's some that exist.
Seals mark some of that too

I hear you and I know of the emblems but the heart of this post is that I really am not demanding the emblems or any other cosmetic that tells the world I grinded D1. I just want the little things, like Shaxx to greet me in the opening mission of the Red War campaign as [i]Saladin's Young Wolf[/i] like I earned and not as just any other guardian.
