Hi there. Solicitations for services on the forums are against the Code of Conduct and are removed frequently. If you come across any that haven't been removed, please use the Report button to report them so they can be addressed.
SOLICITATION is the request for something, offering something, or attempting to purchase goods or services. This includes advertisements, referral links, and selling services to use in our games, such as account recoveries or carries. Bungie does not consider the following to be Solicitation: asking users to watch a broadcast or media that a user has created, or recruiting users to join a game, clan or sub-community, within reason.
Unless it benefits your company monetarily.

So they are against the code of conduct yet Bungie worked with Twitch on the streamer bounties. So pretty much Bungie's message is: don't do it on our platform but we're completely ok with people that break the ToS on other platforms and we'll even support them. Got it....
-
Yeah streamer carries are just paid carries by another name. Just because there is an obfuscation between watch time and the payout of said watch time doesnt mean someone isnt getting paid to carry.
-
I haven't seen recent cheaters on twitch being banned and there is one popular (linked by someone on another post) who was still streaming today... I am sure I and others have reported him but if Bungie cant take down live cheaters what is the chance of taking down a post?
-
If Bungie is not going to take a stand against the solicitation of cheating regardless of platform then we don't stand a chance. They let the paid carries go so far that it's a full on business now. Now we've got account recoveries and cheating all over the place. This is an issue that has been building for YEARS and they've ignored it while it just kept escalating. Now we've reached a tipping point and Bungie is silent... this doesn't speak very well to the community.

I report every single one of them. Just filter them out so I can find real ones.
-
As mentioned, Bungie does not support solicitations so they would never intentionally offer people the choice to self-tag their posts as solicitations, and if they did those people would simply use different tags to avoid being filtered out. Best thing you can do is report solicitations so they can be removed.

You need a better system than repoting. Try using the fireteam section and it's full of soliciting posts. You seriously expect us to report all of them to find a match? My sarcastic point was to find a way of filtering the junk. Maybe mute the players whom I know are soliciting so I don't see their junk post. Or Bungie having an automated way of banning words like carry, recovery, guaranteed etc... you find a solution rather than making us report. Also, shall I send you screenshots of posts which were reported but still there for hours? I have a few and am sure I will find some today also.

To be honest i doubt reporting anything either in game or on forums do anything. Its probably just to make you feel like they care.
