Damn Xbox
After watching the Xbox games showcases. They all look pretty good.
Starting with the game most people here care about, halo infinite. Looks promising, looks like it'll probably be better than halo 5 maybe halo 4, but probably not get to the bungie halo games. Looks more iconic, but looks very cartoony. It also looks like it's trying to try to be a doom Eternal and Halo child. I have real hopes, but it looks like it'll be better than mediocre.
Forza is Forza. No one really cares.
State of Decay 3 exists I guess.
Everwild looks interesting. I'll wait to see more, but I'm slightly more excited for it than halo infinite.
Tell Me Why looks different. I want to know more about what kind of game it is, cause RN it feels like it's gonna be a weird rpg game. Story looks promising though, has me intrigued.
Outerworlds DLC. Nice I guess, it was a good game, not an exclusive though, I think.
Grounded looks like it's gonna be a comedic ARK. Has me interested but I probably won't get it.
Avowed looks good. An RPG in with the Xbox games is very welcome.
As Dusk Falls. Um what... Consider me intrigued.
Phychonaughts 2. Petscop 2? This is just weird. What is this game? I've never even heard of the first one, or if it even exists. Looks like a fever dream though.

Stalker2. Oh my gosh, this might be my favorite one of the show case. I'm soooo intrigued I want to know more.
Warhammer 4000. Looks very good. Very played any of the other games.
Tetris. Oki cool.
The Gunk. It looks cool. Seems like it's gonna be a decent little game like Outer World's
Medium. Hmmm, this looks like a horror. Well done horror I love so I'm in.
New Genius. Xbox Xenoblades?
Crossfire. This looks so good it could replace halo as the face of Xbox. Either that or it just a really good trailer.
Fable. Noooooooo, it can't be. They're really doing it. Wow. I'm hyped already.

11 RepliesWhy people always hate on Halo 5 is beyond me. The campaign is bad yes, but the multiplayer is really well balanced with maps that aren't half bad to boot. Plus the amount of game modes they included really helped.

Stalker2, yeah, those older stalker games always been interesting to me, never got them tho, call me intrigued. Halo infinite, got me too much destiny vibes, antagonist was like less boring version of ghaul, and those abilities...barricade etc[spoiler]only halo which i've played through is c.e. and i liked it, during halo2 got bored...[/spoiler] Overall don't really play AAA games that much anymore, maybe it's bc the industry is filled with greedy executives.

2 RepliesDid they talk about why they dropped the year long gold membership deal? I noticed it was gone from the options when mine expired recently. I hadn't seen anything on why but theories from some folks say they're dropping the gold thing with the new system since Game Pass is racking in money. That or they're scumbags trying to milk folks for as much as they can get because most of the money isn't ALL of the money.

After watching the gameplay trailer for halo it looks like it will definitely be better than halo 5. At the very least it seems that enemies have a little bit less health so I won’t have to spend 30 seconds unloading into one elite.

3 RepliesHalo, Crossfire and Fable were the only ones that looked good to me. I've wanted to see what an open world Halo would look like for a while now. I vaguely remember the original Crossfire but the campaign looked fun. A few seconds in to the clip and I had my fingers crossed for Fable. Well I got my wish. Between a new PC, PS5 and the new games coming out I'll be broke by Christmas.
