Depends on how the character makes vegetarianism look.
A vegetarian serial killer, for instance, would probably not warm a real vegetarian's heart much.

Yeah that would be the ultimate real answer. It was just the thoughts that accumulated in mine mind.

I'll bet vegans' favorite characters are vegan, though. Vegetarian is a choice you make because you love animals. Vegan is more an ideology: it doesn't hurt a chicken, goat, or cow at all to consume milk (or cheese, yogurt, or ice cream) or eggs, so there's no pragmatic reason for not doing so (unless you're lactose intolerant and/or allergic to eggs). Anyway, practitioners of an ideology are more likely to favor those who share their beliefs.

Don't eggs have the potential to spawn into life though?
-
Fertilized eggs do. They are the equivalent of a human embryo. Indeed, if kept warm, they will develop into a newborn chick in about 3 weeks. However, the eggs we eat are unfertilized, and will not develop into anything.
-
Huh. That's pretty neat

The chief difference in the process is that a bird (oviporous) produces its egg as a self contained unit: everything the chick needs from conception to emergence is in the eggshell. Take the egg away from its mom and it'll still hatch just fine, long as it's kept warm. Mammals like us (viviporous), the child is connected to its mom from conception to birth. Take the fetus away from its mom, and he/she will die almost immediately.

Omg chickens are Bomb logic!!!
