Bows can't land crits on Vex
It's incredibly hard and inconsistent to get precision hits on Vex with a bow. I see a year old posts about this topic and it's still there. Bows are normal agains any other enemy but vex you just can't hit drits with a bow.
Vex has bit Wonkyness in the hitbox with other weapons also but bows are just unusable. Go test it out, it's redicillous.

Their chest is extruded and makes it impossible to hit the below crit with anything that remotely arcs or has a large hotbox. I.E. hunter knives do nothing to them.

I’ve had no issues with hitting Crits on vex with a bow. Just aim for the juice box. It probably has more to do with the accuracy stat on the bow. Some bows just don’t shoot straight. It can also be an issue if you just genuinely hate the sight on the bow even if it makes the stats better. If you really like bows I would recommend trinity ghoul as number one with catalyst then le monarch. Arsenic bite and point of the stag are probably my favorite legendary bows. Whispering slab is okay but I personally don’t like the sight on it.

Please invest in spellcheck. 😭 Also, I've never had any issues hitting vex crits with a bow. Have you tried aiming and making sure the bow was fully drawn?

I basically main bows; they’re my most favorite weapon type in the game. I do not suffer the issue you have reported. For Goblins and Hobgoblins, aim for just a tad south of the juice box for the crit. For Harpies, aim for dead center of the red eye. Lead your shots correctly for distance and motion.

Yeah. I like bows, but they feel horrible against vex enemies.

Travel time is the issue. They aren't hit-scan which is why they tend to hit the body and not the crit spot.

That's just how big the hitbox is. I'm pretty sure it's bigger than Arbalest
