I walk out of a portal at the outskirts with my swords on my back.
“Who’s the next one to kill?”

In front of you, the town lies silent and empty, nothing moving. Items lay strewn across the street leading into the town
-
I warp to the top of the nearest building, and look for any movement*
-
No movement, but you can see scratches on the sides of some of the buildings, and doors hanging off of hinges
-
“Hmmm.” I look for best signatures*
-
You see a small signature in a smaller building near the center of the town
-
I start jumping across the buildings, trying to get to that building*
-
You manage to make it over the small alleys, and make it to the front of the building with the heat sig
-
I activate Challenger’s Mark, (The Main enchantment is to apply immense pressure around the blade) and I slowly make a hole in the ceiling*
-
As the part you cut out falls, you hear a small shriek of fear amidst the crunch of whatever the rubble landed on
-
“Hm.” I jump in with my other sword, The Adjutant Flame, ignited. (The sword expels the heat of a Star around the blade.)

You see a small girl scream as you enter, pressing herself against the wall of the house as you land amidst what looks like the scene of a fight, with furniture toppled and scratches on the walls

“Shoot I’m sorry. Are you alright? I deactivate my swords, and kneel down*

“You need a hug? I have-well. Had a daughter just like you. What happened here?”

The girl keeps away from you. "How... how do I know you aren't one of them?"

“Hey. They didn’t have red eyes did they?” My eyes flare up in hellfire*

The girl shakes her head mutely, then rushes to hug you. "The monsters... they took everyone... they got them all..."
-
“Huh. You wanna go kill some? Sounds fun right?”

The girl shrugs, wiping the tears off of her face with her arm
-
“Ok bad thing. Let’s get you out of here.” I walk out with my sword ignited, looking around at the same time*
-
The girl follows you, and you see a figure walking towards you, dressed in a robe with a mask over their face. They call out to you in a deep, raspy voice. "Come, partake of salvation!"

“I’ll pass.” [spoiler]what will happen to me if I do?[/spoiler]

[spoiler]umm... let's just say you won't have a character anymore. He'll be absorbed into an eldritch horror[/spoiler] The figure laughs. "Why so quick to pass? It truly is bliss."

“I don’t like bliss. Ignorance sucks.”

"Oh no, this isn't ignorance. This is true, full knowledge." The figure keeps advancing towards you
