A series of white flames arranged in geometric patterns appear on my side of the arena. They glow brighter and burn away the center, opening to reveal a tall maiden. Armed and armored, fearsome as an army in battle array, I stride into the arena as my portal vanishes behind me. I draw my swords, Durendal, blade of Air, and Joyeuse, blade of Earth, and approach the center.
"Alexander Crowley, I accept your challenge."
I stab Joy into the ground, creating a shockwave around me as I wait for the duel to begin.

I walk out of a red portal with The Adjutant Flame, and Challenger’s Mark in my hands. “Wait I was supposed to be fighting A certain Heretic Herald.”
In case you forgot The Challenger’s Mark is an elegant, black-bladed sword made from Abyssialite. It’s main enchantment is to apply immense pressure to the space around the blade, effectively pulverizing anything it passes. It does, of course, hold the usual marks of Sylver’s work: It cannot be lost, will never dull, and will never break. The Adjutant Flame A sword fit for a King. / Forged by Sylver for Lord Crowley. Appearance: A straight-bladed sword with a narrow crossguard and diamond-shaped pommel. The edges of the blade are bright and reflective, though the faces are dark. White runes run up the center of the blade. Abilities: Can be ignited to expel the heat of a star, burning through anything it passes. Provides the bearer with high resistances to both heat and cold. ——— Sylver forged the Adjutant Flame within the Defender’s Forge, buried deep in the earth and made to resist great powers. Here he forged a weapon from kyrite, a bipolar metal found rarely near the cores of planets, and the heart of a forsaken star. Along with the aforementioned abilities, the weapon will not dull, chip, or be lost to the owner.
“I am she.” I grab Joy and take a combat stance. “The Many Headed declared it so.”

“Fun.” I draw Challenger’s Mark, and take up a defensive position* “Your move, Princess.”
Thank Ringleader for bringing that opportunity to my attention.
It's a draw for now. You need to fight Acro for the tiebreaker.
-
Wait I need to fight Acro? Well. Ok.
-
Both of you won your fight.

Well. That’s an annoying conundrum. Fine.
