Bungie doesn’t wield the ban hammer lightly. Is this is your first ban? If it is, it shouldn’t be a perma-ban, more likely a short term ban. To get a permanent-ban on a first time offence and only being in a lobby with a cheater doesn’t add up. So if you didn’t cheat is there something fishy with your set-up? Do you have any video streaming equipment or software connected to you computer? There was an issue two or three years ago where streamers were getting banned due to their set-up. The anti-cheat detection was thinking that the software being run on-top of the game to stream was some sort of cheat mod. Another option would be with your internet. This is likely not the case, as most “normal” people don’t fall into this category. You would need to have either a trash internet connection, or internet security and configuration that is too advanced for personal use. Since I assume your internet is good and you’re not trying to play from some corporate office, is there anything unusual with your computer set-up?
