If you were still frequently playing all of this old content, I guess I could see the reason for being upset? But considering how little the to-be-vaulted content is played, almost literally nobody is going to miss it.

So you like paying money for a game and having the game rip you off by removing what you paid for? I own every game I ever bought and I revisit and play them when I feel it. Destiny timegated everything and demands you to be playing constantly if you want to stay relevant and in the loop. You miss out, you miss out. I'd rather buy a game that doesn't pressure me to play, and whenever I can play, the content I bought is still there. It shouldn't matter how old the content is, there are plenty of people who haven't experienced Red War or Leviathan yet, and them making it free now is how they are manipulating the law to not be sued even though veterans like me paid for it in the first place

Actually by agreeing to their terms of service when you first sign up you agree that you don't actually own the game and they can do with their ip as they wish

When the content is dead and irrelevant it doesn’t matter.

Exactly. No one plays this crap anymore, and with new light most of this content was free. It’s like complaining about how you can pay $60 to get the right ingredients to make a decent steak but once you eat it, it’s gone. Plus, like you said, no one plays this stuff anymore, it’s just clogging the game. People need to just stop and think about these changes before freaking out about it.
