This is a good idea, but because you know where you want the story to go, it might backfire, especially if people want to pull the story in another direction, in the Vault B raid you all had a clear cut goal, enter the vault and rescue the president (and glope)
if you do something like that make sure the characters have a singular goal in mind and prepare to lose people to other interests like Virus, who had no intention of helping the president and really just wanted access to the deep, ya get what I'm saying?

Right, I see what you’re saying. People with alternative interests will always be a thing, though. For example, I’m running a D&D campaign where I have to motivate part of the party with money, another part with art, and another part with encounters and bounties. Been really interesting.

Hey man you're good at what you do; I got no doubts you could pull it off.

Another thing I could do is this: When I post signups for the dungeon-like thing, part of the requirement is to give why your character would help Ronin? Maybe? Or... Ooh, the signups themselves could be an RP, an interview with the Storm Samurai. A chance for me to pick and choose peeps who would mesh well with the ending I want. Of course, this is all just hypothetical. Story isn’t even close to this point yet.

I add setup to setup all the time. It’s like my fatal flaw or something. I’ll spend hours just setting up something, and five minutes to actually go through with it. In all honesty, it’s probably just going to be a normal sign up post, if I do go through with that idea.

Someone once told me to 'Keep it simple' and I took it to heart because they called me 'stupid' And then had the audacity to call it a 'KISS'.

Hahahahaha, I’ve heard that one before. Keep It Stupid Simple A good rule of thumb, but difficult to practice.
Also early onset Alzheimer’s tells me that that somebody you are talking about might have been me, but I’m not sure XD
