Only a vary small amount of people actually lower their light to do afk forges so sorry but anyone that does it is trash in my books also why afk forges why pay for a game that u just afk for it’s not hard to lvl up. The people that afk forges are the same people that -blam!- a week after release of season there’s nothing to do in destiny

Currently, I am around 1015 light or so, but I am still getting people AFK within my fireteams. I mentioned in another post that I do know of discord/Reddit matchmaking but my hopes are just that this reaches Bungie and their team to really address this team. It's really frustrating to just pop in and have some people that just AFK and ruin the game experience with those who trying to play. Again, I just really want Bungie to notice my post and hopefully bring the issue to the forefront of some of the things they should change.

The light level drop obviously is not working I just did 15 gofannons and out of that was only able to complete one because of AFK individuals the whole time matching with people with light levels 790 to 850 my light level is 1021 so obviously there is a problem with light level matching this is not making it very productive for people that need to get stuff done with the forges they just need to do what somebody else in this form has suggested disable reloading of the activity upon failure of completing a forge

That is because hardly anyone your level is trying to complete them. Everyone has given up until Bungie patches the farm.

You’re wrong, majority of people are. My friend can get down to 99 light using the red war campaign armor, I can get to 390. Low light matches low light, so people should stop complaining

Not talkin about you and the small few who are actually lowering their light below 750 talking about the majority the majority of Destiny 2 community. Go ahead run the numbers jump into a forge average it out how many AFK people you run into that have light level still at over 1000 people that don't care and it's making it a problem for the rest of the community trying to complete tasks.

I’ve been farming forges by lowering my light below 750 for multiple seasons now, and I’ve never encountered a lobby that wasn’t filled with players doing the same. I’ve also played the forges for completion many times during the same timeframe and never ran into the problems you’re complaining of. As much as you don’t want it to be true, you seem to be a minority experience here. When people do it right it has zero impact on other players.

That's just it isn't it that's if people are actually doing it the right way obviously you haven't read any of the other posts otherwise you would know that's not what I was talking about either that or your comprehension is subpar solo player should not have to go through 15 to 20 Forge runs just to find a match up of two people doing a completion for the forge if people considerate doing it properly lowering their light then that wouldn't be a problem but just in my encounters today trying to finish frames and bounties I have run into more than just one occasional instance of people farming with over 1000 light now in your opinion is that the correct way to do it or are you just talking out your rear.

Easy Skippy. All I’m saying is I’ve been doing this far more and for far longer than you apparently have and have never replicated your results, which means there’s something else going on you haven’t accounted for. Take it or leave it.

Have over a dozen clan members farming the forge right now and not 1 is above 750 LL. Not hard to get under 750.
