[spoiler]So, none of my characters are in the area... would it be weird having Skye call Blaze with that comm he gave her?[/spoiler]

[spoiler]Cool![/spoiler] Skye turns her comm to channel 3 and presses the button.

Blaze answers. “Hey. How are you Skye!” You see his eyes are black.

[spoiler]Oh, is there a camera on it, too?[/spoiler] As usual, she is in the woods. “Hi, Blaze! I’m doing all right... just trying to get to Kleinton and it’s taking longer than I anticipated.”

[spoiler]Yeah, a small one![/spoiler] “Fun! Funny you call me, today the bar’s open.”

Skye frowns. “That’s today? By the isle, I could so go for some scotch right now.”

“Heh, I’ll mail it over!” Blaze jokes

Skye wrinkles her nose. “I wish. I’d give you my coordinates but I’m kind of lost.” She chuckles nervously. “Anyway, how are things over there? And your eyes are... normal?”

“Bit of magic from a new friend so people don’t get scared away. Besides that, I’m happy.”

“That’s really good to hear. I take it things are going... well, then? With everything?” She sounds almost hesitant to ask.

“Yeah, things are good! Gotten kinda used to it to be honest.”

“I’m glad. I’d imagine that living in a place like Offtopic, you’d have to get used to things really quickly.”

“Yeah, don’t want to be fighting myself and some bad guys!”

“Bad guys? Are there people after you already?”

“Maybe vampire hunters, but nobody to my knowage.”

“Oh, vampire hunters, huh? That’s... exciting...”

“Well, I assume they’re coming after me, but I honestly have no clue.”

“I hope they’re not. Who else would I get my scotch from?” Skye gives a shrug and tries to smile.

“Heh, hopefully my ghost!” Blaze jokes.

A small but real smile finally grows on her face. “Let’s hope it won’t come to that any time soon.”

“Eh, if it comes to it we come to it.”

“Well, yes. But, I mean... do you talk about being a ghost often?” She asks in fake skepticism.

“All the time! I have backups on backups!”

“Oh... really? Hm... I wish I had your preparation skills. I’m not even in danger at the moment and I’m realizing how rusty I am. Speaking of which, I should probably get going... I really have to find someone soon.”

“Alright, hurry up then, I want to give you your scotch soon!”
