Sorry to hear that. I will be praying for you. Following Jesus doesn't have anything to do with your pastor, your mom and dad, your neighbor, or even me. It's a "between you and God" thing. As in a personal relationship. Jesus seeks a personal relationship with you, despite the things in your past or the things that effect you even now. If you seek God and Jesus wholeheartedly you will find Him. And he will be a part of your life from then on. Jesus will teach you what forgiveness is and what following Him is all about. Then you will learn to forgive even your worst enemies. And that is real love. And that is what is truly profound.
