That Triumph tracks the most resets you've ever had in 1 season. It only goes up if you reset more times than is indicated on the Triumph in a following season. So if you started this season at 4/5 it won't go to 5/5 until you've reset 5 times during this season.
If you wish to see your actual season 10 resets, then please inspect the Season 10: Valor Legend triumph.
If you have actually reset 5 times this season, then please log out of the game and back and re-check both of these Triumphs to see if they've updated.

Thanks for the quick response :) My Season 10 stat tracker says that I have 10,000 Valor this season, which is 5 resets. I've played another game, loaded into the Tower and went back to orbit, restarted my game, computer, and logged out and back into Steam. I found this tweet by Bungie https://twitter.com/BungieHelp/status/1268271839794434049 saying that some Crucible triumphs were not triggering the way they were intended to and to not reset your ranks in the meantime. However, since I didn't see this until after I reset, there's not much I can do.
