You're talking about other classes being op but titans aren't. That doesn't make any sense. Titans have antaeus, no explanation needed. They have one eyed mask. It used to be broken. Right now its extremely good.
Titans can actually do something in midair. Use Lion Ramparts, a sword, and high lift. You sound like a titan main so you should know what im talking about.
Watch Esoterickk's newest video on titans being able to become invincible. Once you do, you'll realize what I mean when I say titans are broken.
Also I'd like to point out that warlocks can't sword skate anymore. Why would titans be able to? If Bungie releases twilight garrison or something close to that, a large portion of the community will be pissed off at them for taking sword skating away from warlocks and then giving titans twilight garrison.
I'd also like to point out something very important in the lore. Titans are the immovable walls of the Last City. IMMOVABLE. You guys are meant to be slow.
Then theres hunters who are meant to be fast but warlocks are actually faster.

Sword "flying"(not skating) with Lion Rampants + a Sword has little to no practicality in PvP, because you not only need to sacrifice your Exotic armor and speed by using High Lift, you also need Heavy ammo and the worst Heavy ammo option unless you're using it to peek corners like "skilled" or "tactical" players. And the "godmode" glitch that Esoterickk covered is in a similar situation, since again, you need to sacrifice your Exotic armor and speed, have Heavy ammo, and have your Super, but even with all of that, you'd need to find a point high enough on a map to activate the glitch(with most likely inconsistent timing). I'm pretty sure unless you're already going to a glitch spot/unintended area, or are on Vostok's B flag area(with the two towers) where you can easily get picked off, there's no possible area on any PvP map to pull it off. And even if you do, a Suppression effect or a shutdown Super like Thundercrash or surpisingly Tether will probably make quick work of that. Since unless you're fragging out, if you've got your Super, someone else is probably close too, if they don't have one already. So you ultimately only brought up two solid talking points, those being OEM(especially in its previous state) and Antaeus Wards. Third and fourth potential points:
Also, what does Warlock Worldline/sword/relic skating have to do with Titans? I really fail to grasp why that was even worth mentioning when Titan skating hasn't existed for over a year in this sequel. Both were removed(though one was only possible on PC) because they allowed egregious levels of unintended player movement speeds, and I suspect the current Dawnblade Icarus Dash boost glitch may be removed as well for the same reason. They probably will get rid of sword flying at some point, but it's only real use is bypassing certain PvE areas, and not speeding up the game to any unmatchable levels. Garrison wouldn't make skating possible, even with a sword, because the Titan jump works much differently compared to the last game. I don't even necessarily want it btw, but that argument against it falls flat. The fourth point doesn't need much to be said about it, but using the lore of all things to base an argument about what actually plays out holds no water at all. You have to really be grasping at straws to try to even mention that.
Just going to point out that everything you describe requires specific gear (sometimes multiple pieces) while non-Titan classes get dodge abilities as subclass perks that can be ENHANCED by gear (ie wormhusk) so it’s not really comparing apples to apples
-
Okay forget the specific gear. Suppressor nades function exactly as a hunter super. Titans have a 1 hit melee that tracks people no matter where they go. Titans can zoom across the map with the striker melee and leave people one shot. Titans are the easiest characters to use. People use hunters because movement in a game like this is key and hunters have the highest skill ceiling in terms of movement. That does not make them overpowered simply because it takes a ridiculous amount of skill to be a top tier player with a hunter

(6)That does not make them overpowered simply because it takes a ridiculous amount of skill to be a top tier player with a hunter
1) Suppressors cause you to lose the ability to use ‘abilities’ at the cost of damage being terrible. You can still move but not use movement abilities. Tether literally tethers you to a spot, suppresses abilities and movement ((including walking being drastically reduced) and causes you to look at the ground and causes you to take extra damage. It takes a good bit of skill to use suppressor grenades effectively. 2) FALSE - Shoulder charge abilities don’t do this. They have something like a 50 degree cone opponents have to be in for them to ‘try’ and lock on but have terrible hit detection since the nerf a couple of months ago. They also leave the Titan open to counters and flanking because they have to sprint to be able to activate them. 3) Are you talking about the Titan SUPER Thundercrash? Because a) that’s a super and b) it leaves the Titan totally open to anyone a medium distance away that was out of the area of effect or behind some sort of cover. 4)Opinion... and if that were really true you would probably see more of them. (5) Totally agree except I would go farther and say hunters entire class set is mostly built around movement and movement abilities... but I would also say that hunter movement also has the lowest skill floor as well. (6) Who said Hunters were overpowered?

1. Suppressor grenades take no skill to use from what ive played. And tether is actually hard to use because of the amount of time it takes to take effect. And things like this can happen quite frequently: http://imgur.com/gallery/1M9xkvD Which leads me to not use the super most games. 2. Shoulder charge did do this. It was so bad it got nerfed. I've still seen people turn 90 degrees instantly on console during a shoulder charge. And shoulder charge has a pretty big range for a melee. 3. Melee. If you look up when you use the melee, you'll zoom horizontally quite a hefty distance. And the range on it can be considered as a slam from top tree or bottom tree, and more often than not, it leaves the enemy one shot. 4. Dude just play the game. You'll see how many titans there are in the game. Id say there's only a few more hunters. There's definitely a lot more titans than warlocks. And titans are so easy to play. Far easier than hunters and warlocks. 6. Every whiny titan main out there. So basically 80% of all titan mains.

1) That looks more like lag than a problem with tether itself. And a suppressor grenade would’ve probably had the same effect in that situation. Just try throwing a suppressor at a flying top tree warlock or a dancing arcstrider in open space and see how useful they are. 2) I think it’s 3m and considering you’re running in a straight line previous to it that’s not crazy. And since the nerf the hit registration is so bad you can go through the hit box of the other player and the other player and can ohk punch you in the spine... you lose the ability and die at the same time. 3) Hunters do the same thing. The lock on distance for melee is fairly inconsistent but I’ve never seen it happen farther than about 2m or so. And the original comment said ‘across the map’. And please don’t just make stuff up... ‘can be considered a slam?’ Top tree hammer/arc and bottom tree sentinel have shoulder charge melee abilities so if we are going to discuss something let’s keep it specific. 4) I’ve got about 2200 hours in D2. After Felwinter was done, I’m doing a few other things until next season launches. I’ll say I saw more Titans during guardian games but that’s about it. I see mostly hunters in crucible, warlocks in strikes and titans in tower when I’m decrypting prime engrams. I haven’t looked at player numbers lately on any stat tracking website. 6) In my original reply, I was referencing the original commenter bringing that opinion up out of nowhere. Hunters weren’t even mentioned originally. And your comment makes you sound like a ‘whiney Hunter main’... see? I can say that too but it doesn’t add to the discussion. It just trying to divide people up into their tribes/camps or whatever you want to call them. My personal opinion as a Titan main is that hunters overall are in a good place other than a) dodge cooldown being too short with max mobility (and powerful friends mod breaking that stat balance) b) spectral blades and arcsteider supers lasting too long (I would also say roaming supers in general last too long but these too are the most egregious)

Mate a huge community is already pissed off. Tell me why do you think the huge majority of the community main/ play hunters? It is not for esthetic reasons. Lion rampant + sword? Im talking crucible not raids or pve. As for watching utubers. I don’t watch / improve on what others do. It’s always good to get a feel for ur own character and play it the way you, yourself, would. And not how others do. A lot of titans use shoulder charge. I don’t. OEM? Never have. Never will. Antaeus is a no either. Why? Things like that give u a false sense of security at times. And I know a titan exotic always gets nerfed so why? I get what you mean. I really do. But if every other character has a dodge of a sort, it’s only fair we get one too. Shoulder charge as others refuse to understand is not a dodge ability. I gotta charge it. During which I’m unable to defend myself. My wall is useless if a warlock is sky high. See the picture I’m trying to paint for you?

Edited by Xeno: 5/31/2020 9:01:35 AMLately I've seen far more titans. I'd say in the crucible, 50% are hunters, 40% are titans, and 10% are warlocks. I'm not even going to mention pve. Like I said, lore wise it doesn't make any sense for titans to get a dodge. And right now titans are pretty broken. You said yourself you don't use antaeus and I praise you for having a brain. Although, a dodge gives a class with already solid mobility, a lot more mobility. It'll get to a point where hunters will ask, why do warlocks and titans get a dodge in midair and we don't? A ground dodge is completely different from a midair dodge.
if they do bring back a dodge on titan as an exotic, I just hope they don't bring back twilight garrison and instead have the perk be on an actually cool looking exotic that doesn't look like your titan drank too much at the bar.
Thats cuz most people don't know how OP warlocks are when you know how to play them

Haha. Twilight looked like a washing machine lol. Most hideous blue too. My days. But function did it.
