A thump of a cane can be heard, before Blaze is seen. “Hello!”
English
-
The wood elf just smiles and happily waves to blaze almost as he is oblivious to the thugs. One of the things turns to blaze “Wait who are you?@
-
“Why, I’m room service! I got called up here!”
-
“It’s his part of the script now. The hero’s time to shine.” The bard says. The thugs seem to thing for a little bit before there leader says, “well I could just leave. Or I could rob you both. Steal whatever treasure this fool has along with whatever you have. You are outnumbered.”
-
Blaze laughs a little before saying, “Wow, I’ve seen scarecrows more threatening then you!”
-
“You do need to be more threatening. It would make the scene all the more dramatic.” The bard says to the thugs. “How about we make a deal” on of the thieves says “you get a portion of what treasure we steal and turn a blind eye.”
-
“Well, I could do that, or I could take care of you guys, and let this nice bard go.” Blaze’s hand tenses on his cane.
-
“What are you going to do about it? Hit us with a cane?” The thug says. The rest in the group all draw knives.
-
Blaze slams his cane down and pulls out his rapier, but winces a little with the extra weight on his leg. “Nah, I’ll just stab ya with this.”
-
“There is still five of us and one of you. What is a pointy sword going to do?” The begin moving towards you to close in on you.
-
“Well, there’s also this.” Blaze’s hair frizzes up, and electricity crackles on the end of each hair.
-
“A little electricity for a lot of treasure sounds worth it to me.” He says. “How about instead you back down and we don’t place five knifes in you.” The bard slowly backs away looking for a bag of popcorn or something.
-
“Fine. Your funeral.” Blaze sends a lightning bolt at the leader of the thugs.
-
The leader gets struck and the rest of the thugs run. Not as stupid as the leader and would rather live than have a chance for some treasure that the bard might not even have.
Mostly because I don’t want to DM combat and only really have these thugs here for plot reasons.
“Cut! Very good. We had a face of and then you just struck him with lighting! I like it.” The bard says.
-
“Yeah I say that went well. Are you okay?”
-
“Perfectly fine. Don’t you love a good mugging? Your timing was impeccable. I almost thought it wouldn’t work.”
-
“Yeah.....wait, why are you talking like this was planned?”
-
“How else would I create a nice thematic introduction to my own character in this universe of stories? I took the two common themes of a tavern and a mugging and merged them into one! Speaking of tavern would you like a drink? I would pay.”
-
“Nah.....I’ll be good.” Blaze gives the bard an odd stare.
-
“Well I would prefer a different location for a different scene but I guess here works. Anyways your timing was impeccable. You made it on the set just on time!”
-
“Ehh, gotta be in time so you don’t get mugged”
-
“You are correct there. Wouldn’t want the plot to go any differently than a normal one. Although you where right they where not intimidating. If there is a next time I should spread rumors of treasure to a more intimidating group.”
-
“Yeah. If you get in trouble again, tell me.”
-
“But I don’t even know who you are. You just happened to show up because of some reason or another. Maybe I should of added more context to that but then the hero would be less realistic.”
-
“Yeah, anyways, I should probably go.”
-
“But what am I supposed to call you if I need you?”
