Have you completed the Gambit Prime introductory quests?

I remember there being a quest that said "Who are you?" Was that it?

The Gambit Prime quest I believe is called Gambit, In Its Prime. It's a quest that allow you to obtain a mote synth for The Reckoning

Ah yes! I completed that one. Not sure if I should get more then a weak mote synthesizer though.

Not that I'm aware of. After that should have been the allegiance quest. You should try to complete that too.

They are the new light quests correct? If so, no I haven't.

No, there's one the Drifter would have specifically for Gambit Prime, which I believe is a requirement. But yes, you should complete ALL introductory quests first as well.
