I think that Bungie realised that this quest was quite tedious. It was at a time when pinnacle weapons kind of broke the game and so they made them very difficult to chase. The quest has been changed to make it easier though and I don’t think will be adjusted further, I think a lot of people try to complete it in momentum control now where you can one shot people. Colony is good for double kills and fighting lion for everything else.

  • I can understand if the weapon is very good, to make it hard, but hard doesnt necesary mean tedious (check out Sekiro game). I think too they wont nerf it more, but... for future quests, they should really take in count this is a game, and you are meant to have fun, not just use weird loadouts and spam game modes that are not fun at all. Using 2 bulled for spam weapons (unless u have fighting lion, wich is really hard to OHK with), and depending on picking up Heavy, then staying alive until two enemies get close, and kill em both hoping no teammate is involved is... frustrating. I hope future quests are meant to be fun, I dont mind the grind, but a fun or entertaiment grind, where you can play "normal". Got the weapon already tho, but I really dont wish people who wants it to be exposed to this unfun grind. Cheers.

  • Yeh I totally agree (and appreciate the Sekiro reference haha). I hope the Iron Banner rocket launcher kills quest step last season and backlash to it was the last time they’d do this. I also think the Revoker quest was done really well done and a good example of a pinnacle weapon quest.
