Bungie's anticheat detected something either in your game play or on your rig that it felt it violated the game's policies, it then flagged your account for review, Bungie SRT Staff members then reviewed your account, validated the reason for the flag, confirmed it violated policy, then manually placed the ban. If you received a Weasel error before the ban, this was due to the ban being placed. The game uses the weasel code to remove you from the game world. Keep in mind…Bungie rarely will send you a reply unless your ban is overturned. So if more than a few days have passed without a reply, then the answer is no, and the ban will stand.

Edited by LuxAtrox: 5/3/2020 3:50:13 PMGreat. Thanks for the info though. I just wish they would tell me as well as others in my situation, why we got banned, rather than leaving us in the dark. Because maybe we could inform them on some program on our pc that their anticheat detected, that has nothing to do with cheating on D2 or even cheating at all for any game.

Never going to happen. That would give cheaters/hackers and developers of cheating/hacking programs insight on to what Bungie is looking out for. Also, developers of those programs try to mask what games their programs can interact with.
