A man enters the bar and takes a seat away from the others. He slowly scans the room before taking off his helmet and clipping it onto his belt. He keeps glancing toward the door, as if he’s waiting for someone to enter.

“Ah hello! Who are ya, what are ya doin, and what’s your order!”
-
“Oh, i’m just waiting for an... acquaintance. I’ll take some whiskey, don’t really care which way. I ain’t picky.” He glances at the door once again.
-
Blaze hands you your drink. “So what’s the name? Don’t think I’ve seen you here before.”
-
Edited by -blam!-: 4/28/2020 8:58:20 PMHe takes a sip of his drink. “You can call me Court. I’m here for a business trip, won’t be stayin’ too long.” Court looks at the door once again and spots the person he was looking for, a woman wearing a similar outfit to his own. He quickly waves her over. “Give me whatever he’s having.” She says as she sits down.
-
Blaze gets another whiskey “So, why are you two in town? Honeymoon?”
-
The woman chuckles, and Court looks slightly uneasy. “Nah, as I said, just a business trip.” The woman takes off her own helmet and places it down on the table. “I’m Ari. Nice to meet you.” She drinks half of her glass in a single go, then extends her arm toward Blaze “Sorry if Court here has been rude, he’s not too fond of people.”

A man decked in a brown leather jacket tried to relax himself in the corner of the bar. He tipped his cowboy hat and tapped his fingers in a specific pattern on his table, his other hand on the handle to his Spare Rations. I think it'll take four...two if I'm lucky...

Edited by Charles, Lord of Kaboom: 4/28/2020 10:16:34 PMBail kept his head lowered. His gun felt cold. He glanced at Court and tried not to react. He kept tapping on his table and slowly took the gun out of its holster. He began whistling a tune he knew but didn't know how he knew it. He placed the gun on the table and finally leaned back. He had wavy brown hair and a freshly cut beard. His eyes were an unusual amber color and a brand of a name written in Hive showed on his neck. Your name isn't "Bail"...Dagger- Ghost, lied to me...it's always been their...like a dent in a sparrow, you can't NOT notice it... His brand began to give off a faint green light. "Dregden Reech..." He muttered to himself with a smile.
-
Court tensed up and put his helmet back on. He draws his own hand cannon, but does not raise it past the table. “This stranger means nothing but trouble...” Court muttered as he checked the chamber on his gun.
-
Reech grabbed his gun again but kept his finger off the trigger. He looked at Court and then to Ari, and he smiled. He continued to whistle as he pretended to place the gun back in its holster. Then when he finished his song, he stood up and shot two shots at Ari and kicked the table over for cover. "Just...fishing in the dark..."
-
Court heard the shots and felt a bullet impact his helmet. He knocked over his own table and returned fire. He ducked behind the table looked around, hoping for an exit. Seeing nothing, he sighed. “Looks like it’s the hard way out, then.” he thought to himself. He reloaded and then slid to the next table over, knocking this one over as well. He popped up and shot over it. “The door isn’t too far away... but there is no way I can make it without getting hit.” He muttered.
sorry about the late reply, had to eat dinner.
-
Reech grimaced, he clutched his left shoulder where a bullet made impact. "Wait! Let me explain." He barked from behind his table. "I...I have to do this...but there's a loop hole...are you a Guardian?"
-
“I’m a lightbearer, but i’m sure as hell no guardian! I owe no allegiance to the city or Vanguard!” Court sounds almost disgusted at the thought of being called a guardian. “And before you get anythin’ else outta me, i’m gonna need to hear who you are. Another rouge lightbearer? A Shadow of Yor, perhaps?”
-
Reech chuckled. "Dregden Reech." He replied. "Expect I ain't no rogue. The mark on my neck was to make sure no other Dredgen den will take me in." He spat back. He stood from his hiding place and dropped the gun. "Here, I do you a favor and you do me a favor. You shot me and I missed- I never miss -so I owe you my respect. I tip my hat to you, brother." He said as he tipped his hat toward where he thought Court was.
-
Court stands up and comes out of his hiding spot, his weapon only half lowered. “I’m listenin’. What’s this favor?”
-
Reech tensed up a bit. "I need a gun. My...'Boss" said I'd be able to come back when I bring him some gun. I'm almost finished with it...but I need to go to Titan to finish it. You do this little strike of mine with me, and I'll do whatever you need down. The Shadows are restless."
-
“Nah he’s fine, though he haven’t opened his mouth much!” Blaze laughs.
-
Edited by -blam!-: 4/28/2020 9:41:40 PMAri laughs with Blaze, then drinks some more. Court, still looking uneasy, tapped Ari’s arm and handed her a data chip, which she inserted into her wrist pda. She read through it’s contents and her eyes widened. “Where did you get this?” she asks Court. “Don’t worry about that.” he replies. Ari downs the rest of her drink and stands up. With a big smile, she gives Court a kiss on the cheek and leaves. Court blushes slightly, but tries to hide it and finishes off his own drink.
-
“Heh. So I wasn’t wrong. What was that data you gave her?”
-
“Oh, it was just a small gift. Been a while since I saw her and wanted to do something nice, yaknow?”
-
“Yeah, I understand. Seemed like it worked.”
