Actually, after re-reading your issue, and you mentioning Grimoire, you seem to not be talking about Cross-Save but instead bringing your Destiny 1 characters to Destiny 2.
Unfortunately, the veterancy import happened several years ago and any progress after that on Destiny 1 would not allow for veterancy import.
If your Destiny 1 characters were not available when you first logged into Destiny 2 with the same XBL ID, then those characters were not eligible for import.
Please take note that the veterancy import for D1 to D2 was entirely cosmetic; no equipment was transferred.

Read the article, and if your issue is not resolved by the information in the article, please click the button at the bottom, fill out the form with all of the information, and submit it.
You'll want to request your active account be switched to your XBL ID, not your Steam ID.
After submission, please be patient, as the Bungie teams have to go through each submission (including all of those that were before yours), and they only do so during business hours, so it may take some time for you to get a result if one is needed.

Please note that if you disable Cross-Save, you'll have to wait out the 90-day security lockout and the above form won't help you, so if you didn't disable Cross-Save yet, please don't. If you did, then next time when you're ready to re-enable it after waiting out the lockout, insure that you set it up the way you intend and double check before turning it on.[/spoiler]

Just wanted to say thanks again! I was able to recover my previous characters from ps3 and all grimoire still available thanks to all those in the thread who reached out! Thanks Guardians!

That makes so much more sense now that I think about it!! Thank you so much I could have ended up waiting a week to play on characters that would probably have been sent to my ps4 account come to think of it haha wow I'm such a dunce sometimes I think I ported those characters to my ps4. Guess I was just hoping the Trials Flawless and Heoric Raid cosmetics would still apply but thank you so much for the update!! 110% Resolved and will just port over my ps4 D2 Characters as that is most likely where they went haha thanks a ton!! Edited by ADragonWithin: 4/26/2020 3:12:47 AMIf you played them originally on the PS3 and imported them to the PS4, you can link your PS4 account to your Bungie.net profile in your Bungie.net Settings under Accounts & Linking. If they were eligible for import and did get imported to Destiny 2, you can then Cross-Save and select that data as your primary save data and then be able to play them on every platform.
