A problem with the loot since D1 is every tom dick and harry is running around with 90-100% of the Exotics already acquired. In what kind of game do you have end game powerful rewards handed to you on a plate. (Xur)
Acquiring exotics should be something players work towards throughout the length of destiny.

I'm still waiting for my 1K voices. I stopped grinding for it though for I knew it would never come. Also how is getting exotics from Xur not earning them? Still have to grind out the materials to buy them from him. That logic never ever made sense to me ever ...

Yeah but how many shards you sitting on? 3 or 4 figures probably and that’s most D2 players atm. 3 Exotic armour pieces and 1 Exotic weapon is not even 100 legendary shards. Let that sink in.

The fact that your line of thought goes strait to veteran players talking about a mechanic put in the game to help new(er) players catch up to veteran players just goes to show your entire thought process is about you. Xur isn't meant for veteran players. Hell I got this seasons exotics before Xur even showed up weekend 1 of the season. Maybe the issue is the drop rate of the "new" exotics we get each season. I mean hell I still don't have 1K yet I got all 3 season exotic armor pieces within 3 days. Yea figure that one out ...
