It varies widely, but the main gist is some people do it freeform, which tends to lean more toward your whims, and some people roll a d20 on everything you do—without any modifiers or stat factoring.

That makes sense. What about groups or RP threads? I’ve seen a lot of story posts but nothing where people seem to be gathering

Groups are fairly irrelevant now, as Bungie is trying to quietly kill them. They’re only accessible online and through direct url connection. That being said, most RP posts are entirely public.

Maybe? I really can’t say for sure. Perhaps it’s a waste of upkeep, or maybe they really do have such an ulterior motive.
