Laughs in Season of Armory and Drifter, and Season of Undying content after you realize it was being carried by Shadowkeep

Edited by High Noon at Jötunn Saloon: 4/8/2020 10:52:43 AMHow were any of those seasons worse? Why beacuse you played them lol. First...Armory was a fine season. The forges were at least a new concept for Destiny at that point with a slew of top tier weapons. And Scourge is a very fun raid. At least Vex Offensive gave you multiple rewards per run and a guaranteed weapon at the end. Plus it was matchmaking. Sundial was torture but the rewards were undeniably solid. ...and it was matchmaking. There has never been any destiny dlc or season that remotely approaches how terrible this season has been. It was old and boring literally the first day...the entire season is predicated on increasing the power level by 30 to extend the grind to make up for the utter lack of content.
First...Armory was a fine season. The forges were at least a new concept for Destiny at that point with a slew of top tier weapons. And Scourge is a very fun raid.
Ah, yes. The season of Return to Ada-1. The season of having to do long ass quests on ALL THREE CHARACTERS to unlock the forges. The season of like two good Forge weapons, the Blast Furnace and the Hammerhead. The season of time gates. The season of an easy mode raid. The season of a failed community event in Niobe Labs. The season of an ass story; why the -blam!- does an organization that hates Guardians have their base in the -blam!-ing Tower? I’ve still never seen that explained. I quit that season a few weeks in because I was sick of the bullshit.
At least Vex Offensive gave you multiple rewards per run and a guaranteed weapon at the end. Plus it was matchmaking.
Multiple shit rewards and a guaranteed wet noodle. The armor looked like ass and the weapons were nothing special. The scout rifle was in the worst archetype, the SMG was and still is overshadowed by the Recluse, the pulse rifle was just a worse Last Perdition or Inaugural Address, and the hand cannon was the only semi-decent weapon, and even then I only give it a pass because I love Demolitionist. Think about it; if you take the Shadowkeep content out of those three months (the campaign, the Moon, the raid), Undying was the lightest season we ever got; it was just a single activity with four reskinned weapons, reskinned armor sets, plus the Leviathan’s Breath, which was overshadowed the very next season by Devil’s Ruin. And are we also going to forget the outrage that was the Final Assault? Lol have the same exact encounters with a slightly different boss in the same arena as before with all the same mechanics.
Sundial was torture but the rewards were undeniably solid. ...and it was matchmaking.
Never mentioned Season of Dawn. I think Season of Dawn was the best season yet. Story was great, activities were great, guns were great, armor was great. I mentioned Season of the Drifter. You know, the Gambit only season that resulted in none stop b!tching on these forums. You people have the shortest memories.
There has never been any destiny dlc or season that remotely approaches how terrible this season has been. You just described Curse of Osiris.

I'd say 90 percent of the community agrees with mind judging by this forum, reddit and all thr parties I'm in. Muted. Done with ya.

Woo-hoo, we found 3 good guns from the Forges out of, what was it, 7?
I'd say 90 percent of the community agrees with mind judging by this forum, reddit and all thr parties I'm in.
Because 90% of the “community” can’t remember the shit they complained about last month, let alone over two years ago to how bad Curse of Osiris was.
Muted. Done with ya.
🍼👶🍭

Guardian, Archon Of LightArchon Priest Of House Light - old
Vex Offensive was more fun than shit show public events -
Vex Offensive got old after 3 runs. At least the Seraph Tower has three different locations and the two possible bosses when you finish and the enemy type rotates weekly, plus awesome rewards in the Seraph weapons. More variety and reward than what Vex Offensive had.

Yeah, but the vex offensive didn’t require the luck of getting good people in the same instance that is actually trying to do it It should have been a separate mode with matchmaking
