Golden gun is the most lethal super killer. You can't make it too easy to use or else it'd be op. The only golden gun change really needed is some damage resistance to bottom tree. Hunter's were given a ohk knife. Giving double damage to middle tree knives would be broken. Making shots stop sprinting would break the flow of pvp and make shoulder charge literally unusable. As for trials, an overhaul to the reward system is necessary to keep the mode alive, including participation rewards. Currently the system doesn't incentivise casuals to play and doesn't really reward players who go flawless. The broken token system allows gatekeeping which will only push more players out. Aztecross did a good video about how to potentially make trials better. If you haven't seen it you should watch it.

My point said about a health buff and a damage buff with a steep drop off to make it more effective at close range. This is for top tree only. Regarding the double damage knives, this would require absorbing a full grenade charge. Not a constant double damage increase. While I see your point about sprinting, I'm sure you can see mine. I'm not sure on the definite answer. Like I said, maybe only high cal can stop sprinting, or you can't sprint under 20% health maybe. Trials is in an odd state, however I do not agree with participation trophies. Bring back bounties fine, but no tokens. Or at least stop tokens for losses. A player who's never won a single game of trials shouldn't have access to the same armour as someone with a 90% win rate. Same way that someone who can't complete the raid can't unlock 1KV.

Landing knife trick to the head is already pretty lethal. Bottom tree has a OHK knife already, I don’t think we need another, especially considering gambler’s dodge and sixth coyote being a thing and would immediately make that suggestion completely broken.

Valid reasoning. My only thought regarding the consuming grenade energy was to compare with handheld nova, sort of like pre fire ready to throw. Maybe they could rework the throwing knife to do the same, currently the animation is a tad too much in some cases, the ability to prepare the throw, and release when you choose may be a better way of operating.

I think the longer animation is to keep the knife in line with handheld supernova and shoulder charge. There needs to be a risk associated with going for a OHK. If they sped up the animation, maybe it wouldn’t be broken, but maybe it would be the new crutch.

Not speed up, just allow for a pre fire same as the handheld nova
