Dire actually has slightly better base range than Spare, but slightly worse reload speed, handling and aim assist.
The major difference between the two are the perks.
Dire cannot have Rapid Hit, Slideshot or Moving Target.
Spare is the better PvP handcannon due to having a much stronger perk pool to draw from.

Nah. I think the evasion of Moving Target or the ability to keep your mag topped off with Slideshot/Rapid Hit without having to spend your dodge is more valuable than OS. Opening Shot is okay, but skilled HC users can squeeze more value out of Spare's best perks than Dire's. Spare still has the stronger rolls, imo.

As a dragons shadow main who is constantly dodging, maybe that’s why I don’t find a ton of value in rapid hit lol

They really went full damage control with a lot of the Season 10 weapons. I can only imagine how terrible it'll get when weapon retirement starts. Will the best possible endgame roll be a complete trash roll?
