Power is relative.
The obvious solution here is that all the DM/GM has to do is realize that not every character interaction has to be canon, and procede with plot lines or outcomes as they are, regardless of the power discrepancy.
At the very least, you will learn to improvise and stretch your creativity.

I’m not gonna get into a argument with one of the biggest most bs RPers in the history of Offtopic, comin up with such random BULLSHIT that shouldn’t even exist for a goddamn dragon. Do not get me started on “creativity”, plenty of people actually develop their characters instead of making them OP as hell and nullifying any attack of the DM. Just...-blam!- off.

Edited by The Dragon: 3/12/2020 10:26:03 AM
I’m not gonna get into a argument with one of the biggest most bs RPers
Translation: I am going to say what I want to but I lack the sense of accountability for what I have to say. RP and all forms of fiction are literally “bs” as they are all “made up”.
in the history of Offtopic, comin up with such random BULLSHIT that shouldn’t even exist for a goddamn dragon.
Only according to your opinion, especially if you are going to be unimaginative and closed-minded with your expectations and standards. If you are going to be consistent, humans should not have any powers or abilities at all beyond the realistic monotony of every day life.
Do not get me started on “creativity”, plenty of people actually develop their characters instead of making them OP as hell and nullifying any attack of the DM.
Oh, but you already have started. Like I said: power is relative. Creatures that seem “overpowered” only seem so because either your own creature is underpowered or you simply lack the creativity to contend with the more formidable creature.
Just...-blam!- off.
Ah, a typical phrase by those who lack legitimate arguments. So uncivilized.

This reads like “Nana nana boo boo ur just bad”
This reads like “Nana nana boo boo ur just bad”
If he is, it is because he chooses to be. If you are he or anyone wishes to improve, you must be willing to adventure outside of your comfort zone, challenge yourself, be humble enough to change and adapt to your circumstances. You have the potential to be better if you are willing. But if not, then your chosen fate is mediocrity and stagnation, which leads to degradation or regression as the rest of the world around you, and those who are willing to grow, surpass you and leave you behind.

No, I meant your post. From what it sounds like, you had the power of an anime protagonist on crack. You are not in the right.
No, I meant your post. From what it sounds like, you had the power of an anime protagonist on crack. You are not in the right.
Not even remotely. Like I said: power is relative. If you or your character confronts or is confronted by a more powerful character to whatever degree, or even a character who’s way of defeat is not so obvious, or merely a character that you feel intimidated by, that is just how things are. That is even how life is: you are not always in control; you are not always the best. In fact, most of the time you are not. Despite facing overwhelmingly powerful opponents, it is not the most powerful protagonists that are full of renown, but the most ingenious. It is those stories, of the seemingly under-dogged characters cleverly overcoming superior forces through adaptation, creativity, and hard work that are the most enjoyable. That is good writing. To be honest, I have hardly flexed even a fraction of my capability in these RP threads. What you or others have faced of me is yet even a minor avatar or form of me. The power I have demonstrated is not at all so powerful as some of you have demonstrated. No, your greatest enemies are only yourselves. Your desire for a power fantasy, to feel that you are in the spotlight, works against you when that is challenged. That is narcissism. Pride. Let it go. Get out of your own heads. Think outside of the box. If you choose not to, you’ve only yourselves to blame.
You completely dodged the point, nice job troll.
@-@

You never explicitly explained your point. I care not for the preferences of others, especially if they lack the willingness to grow.

What’s this “grow” crap your talking about? That has nothing to do with you being inherently OP AF.
@-@
Since you have demonstrated a lack of self-control, as punishment I shall withhold from you further insight.
*laughs viciously*
