They don’t leave because they still [i]care[/i] about the game. They want it to succeed, but don’t enjoy playing anymore.

Don't think so, because if they cared, they would/should express their concerns and maybe improvement ideas instead of the "I'm quitting" rant

Most do leave- the game. But some stay here on the Forums to monitor the direction the game is heading, seeing if it's worth coming back to, and, more frequently, telling Bungie "this ain't it chief."
