The iron lord bit in this post. It reminded me of something my dad said about the drifter quest after you choose between the two (I haven't done it yet ) He said that drifter lived in a village and the Iron lords commandeered it to lay a trap for a warlord. The drifter hid his Ghost and his light. The ensuing battle killed the whole village and drifter held his neighbors dying daughter in his arms. According to my dad that's when he decided he hated guardians.
