This is bungies best chance to let us guardians play as eliksni other than human/exo/awoken. You would think that after all them years of the eliksni following the traveller and attempting to reclaim it due to previously being abandoned in theyre own golden age that the traveller would almost feel sorry for the eliskni race now -seeing so few of them left. It would be pretty cool if the traveller gave the ghosts the option to revive dead eliksni thus forming the house of light.

  • Seeing light bearing Eliksni would be cool. I've always wondered what the Fallen looked like as newly Risen.

  • I just like to point out that technically the fallen never had guardians. Something that I find peculiar is that the traveler just fled from the darkness when it came for the traveler and the fallen, but chose to sacrifice itself for humanity. Either the traveler saw it as the only way to beat the darkness, (in which case it failed and explains the future Osiris saw) the traveler got fed up with running (which is disproved by the traveler wanting to run, shown in the speaker lore) or the traveler saw humanity as the one and only species or race that could actually fight back the darkness.

  • That's interesting to point out. The Traveler is still such a huge mystery. Apparently, during Calus' rule, the Cabal encountered light bearers of the traveler and they lost. So I wonder, what if the Traveler went to the weakest races that were still developing, and tried to make them its army against the Darkness. Think about it. Humans wouldn't be able to crush the Traveler on their own, nor could Eliksni. And both groups praised it like a God. It's like a contract. Semi-immortality, knowledge and powers in trade for protection. What if Earth was the last place it could travel to? It's last line of defense because the others were either careless or not strong enough to survive.

  • Ooh that's a good theory too. I can't wait to see where Bungie go with the Traveler's story, there are still a lot of unexplained things.
