Bungie made it clear that they are interested in doing class-specific weapon’s anymore.

It wouldnt have to be tho. IIRC, Ace of Spades was the hunter exotic in D1, amd now everyone has it. They could do the same here. Not 100% sure I'd want them to though, unless it came in randomly like the Arbalest.
