Agreed. Waste of limited space. Bungie keeps introducing more items without increasing space to keep them. It's basic math, right? Add 50 new items, add 50 new spaces to keep them. I'm not sure how they fail at basic math ... orrrrr they want us to use them for something or get rid of it as soon as possible, so inventory isn't filling up. Which would require trips to tower, or play the game their way. Which, admittedly I'm not sure what that means. I don't think they play Destiny 2. So that might explain the limited math application.

  • This would be a good philosophy, if old gear was useless in all activities, and newer versions were better in every aspect. In my opinion, they are not. This includes inventory items for currency. Delete currencies because they take up space? This philosophy sounds odd to me. Why not save a given currency until an item becomes available at a later date? Or does everyone have zero of everything at the start of a new season?

  • I use a lot of stuff that others would probably not. I keep items because of Bungie's model of constant change. I guess not everyone knows that Bungie changes its sandbox. And those without the archetype that benefits most have to catch up. And since armor 2.0 has not yet provided me with enhanced mods as plentiful as before, there are greater solutions when combining armor of old and new. So combining the elemental changes of Y1 guns, enhanced perks of Y2 armor, with mods and weapons from Y3, knowing Y2 and Y3 guns and armor are useless with collections, exotic armor perks are random, and now new currencies seem to be introduced each season, space doea get diminished. Like I said, not everyone plays the same way, and not everyone understands the benefits of waiting to use a certain item in the most efficient manner. The math is still simple isn't it? Wouldn't that allow players to play the way they'd like to?

  • I suppose I should have added a /s to my post. I dread playing because my vault is at 499/500 and my inventory is 49/50
