Hello. All player accounts were reset to our backup which occurred at 8:30 AM PST yesterday. Any items earned, progress made, or anything that was purchased did not count between ~8:30-10:30 AM PST.
Unfortunately, it's not possible for us to unlock or give this item to you. To get this item again, you'll have to earn it again.

Pretty much just won the jackpot at a casino and was told that a time change just happened. Therefore you didn't actually win.

I think I am with Bungie on this. I dont mean to be that guy, but the photo of Anarchy in his collection doesnt show proof that he has it. His name isnt in the photo. That could be anyones collection screen. He should have not zoomed in and had his name in the photo... that would have been evidence. This could have been fabricated.

I am aware of that but it's also why I have all the other photos included with when I showed my clan in discord and that the completions are also on raid report but not in game anymore. There's even people from the fireteam that are in this forum. How was I supposed to know that my progress would be deleted while I was playing the game. The rollback wasn't even announced until much later in the day. I provided the best that I could.

I know, there was a problem with the game. Everyone playing saw and knew that. I actually even thought the game will shut off for the rest of the day when I saw the posts start cropping up. Roll back is bogus. But again none of your photos show that your character has the reward, there no solid evidence there. Im sorry you lost your gun and it stinks that you have to go back and do it again. Probably wont. I gave up on that crap a long time ago. I will never farm for RNG weapons again, too much wasted time.

This man at least posted it while others are too scared to do it. Just give him his anarchy back. If I could I would have traded my enhancement cores for this guy's anarchy. Yikes. This is one of the most troubling developer responses I have ever read, and that's going back to DikuMUD gaming. The customer has proof, the loss is Bungie's own fault, and the response is untrue. It is 100% possible, ask anyone in the coding/software department. Not possible and not happening are 2 totally different things.

And to top it all off they buffed the bugs that were supposed to be fixed. This post wouldn't be up if I never got it and I'd happily do another 100 runs but I did get it. And now i have no desire to try for it. Because I have a legitimate reason to believe it'll be deleted again. I no joke have been farming weapons to pair with the gun too.

I know people who've done the raid once and gotten without contributing anything. And I know people with 60-100 clears that know everything about the raid without one. Raise the issue to someone who can? Like there's gotta be a geezer sat somewhere with the ability to ping an Anarchy over to this bloke's postmaster. I get that normally you wouldn't restore items otherwise everyone would be claiming for stuff they accidentally deleted, but this was bungie fixing another issue that caused these items to be lost. Surely you could give affected players back their hard earned exotics, can't be that many who had their first 1000 voices, anarchy or tarrabah drop during this hour?

I understand, it is what it is. But I'm not going to lie, losing items stings. Especially when an item you've been hunting for is affected. Though, good job with the damage control. What was lost can always be found.. given enough time and luck. Cheers!

The reason they gave someone fate of all fools was because of the individual's input to Bungie. The guy had followed them for years and if I'm not mistaken, it was either him or a relative that was diagnosed with a terminal illness. So I wouldn't say that even matters or can be compared to a gun EVERYONE can get. Plus, fate of all fools is what turned into Jade Rabbit, so still, an invalid argument.

Its not because they CANT that they arent going to give him anarchy. Ofc they can give players what they want. Its just they WONT give it to him. because its possible for the player to get it back by himself...and also because there is no proofs of him having it actually. Since they reverted progression im sure they lost everything that happened.

Screw the thousands of people who lost a full stack of enhancement prisms and ascendant shards give this boy back his anarchy /s but no some people are dumb and entitled, i mean it sucks for him to have to refarm for anarchy again but id rather refarm if i were in his shoes than have thousands of people having to completely rebuild their material collection

It's not a huge deal it was just frustrating. I think I'm mostly mad that they said I have to earn it again. it's more of a i have to get lucky again. I understand why I won't get it back. it just sucks being that guy. I'm just broken at this point. I have an ongoing joke with one of my friends that I'm unlucky, when it comes to video games. Like I don't usually give up but I'm sad. At least other people got stuff back. Just anything that would show they cared would be enough. I just bought d1 recently too. Its the only bungie game I haven't played other than Halo 1. But it's hard playing right now I'm recording every exotic i get from now on.
