Ummm... yes? This is how matchmaking in any game works that isn't just connection based. If a game constantly puts you against opponents of roughly the same skill-level, then OF COURSE you'll have close to a 50 % win-rate. If you improve, you'll get matched against better players. Most games have some version of this in most of their playlists. This is completely normal, I'll never understand why only Destiny players make such a big deal out of it.
This isn't "rigged" or "forced" 50/50. If you get matched against players of your skill, you'll generally win as much as you lose. Imagine thinking this is some sort of conspiracy, Jesus Christ...
EDIT: So some people think there is ACTUALLY a conspiracy in which Bungie "rigs" the game while you're in a match so you lag more or more of you bullets miss etc. And honestly, if you believe that... you're beyond help. You probably also believe they faked the Moonlanding or 9/11 was an inside job or somehting.

Edited by A_mo: 1/28/2020 2:54:05 PMIt's not your fault that you don't ever read anything about how matchmaking in fps games work. It's exactly what the game does because it more or less has to do that. Otherwise, by your logic, there would people who literally never win or get kills and then they would quit playing. Stop treating the game like it doesn't have the goal of making money and keeping people engaged in order to do so. It's not a conspiracy. It's actually quite logical what they do and why they do it. You should try reading about it before acting all high and mighty.

I'm sorry, but WTF are you even talking about? I literally said it isn't a conspiracy. The way they let people bad at the game win games is by... putting them against other bad people. Like, that's how matchmaking works, in many games, and that's how they "keep you playing", by giving you balanced games. It's what I wrote. ...but if you think they actually manipulate the game mid-match, I'd really like to see your sources for that. In any case, you talk big game about reading up on stuff, but don't share any source. Give me an article from a reliable site, give me anything about what you're talking about. I mean I actually read stuff about the games industry, but please, show me!

I was saying before the sit turned offf that its not a matter of whether they do it or not. Becasue the do. They have to. Its a matter of whether or not their methods could be better. Just look up SBMM on google. Seriously, to tell you the truth, I play all day and at certain point people like you don't get to tell me how the game works. I'm putting my experience out there to make the game better for everybody.

You seem overly defensive... What are you hiding?

You probably think Epstein killed himself too huh?

He dosen’t have any clue what Bungie capable of.

They are beyond help.

Made a edit for one's such as yourself, feel free to read. Atleast about half of some got the point.

If you actually think Bungie is manipulating the game in real-time like this... then I can't help you. This shit isn't happening. People make up all sorts of justifications for things which seem "weird" to them. It's called bias. There isn't some sort of conspiracy, even if it is enticing to think so.
-
Of course it's not real time when they have a system in place to do it for them. PC players have already proved this.
-
No one has ever proved this. I have seen people claim this, and there has never been sufficient statistical data and evidence. This only happens to people who are prone to conspiracy type thinking.
-
Well, Bungie has confirmed that gambit does have a comeback system. Why would it be so impossible that they have milder version in regular pvp? The fact, that I guess we can all agree, is that there are some really bad players out there. How long do you think they would keep on playing, when gettin' zero kill games one after another? Not long I think. So, they need help... It's all about money.
-
Just to educate and that there is no misinformation out there: In Gambit, if you lose one round, there are modifiers applied BEFORE the round starts, and to the ENTIRE round, that make it a bit easier for you to win. This isn't Bungie messing with the game mid-round to balance things out. And stuff like this is also in other games, sometimes called rubber-banding, to make things more close (and fun for a lot of people). It is not the same as the "rigging" some people think is going on in PvP. You may not like this stuff, and that's your right, but there isn't anything shady going on. Also... they literally admitted it haha

I think right now that's you
