  • I have read it several times, however, for some reason, it won't let me authenticate the PS4 after I choose to deactivate the cross save. I can authenticate the Steam, which says there are no characters, but for the PS4 it says in a red banner, " Resolve 1 Error." When I check what the error is, it tells me that I cannot deactivate for 87 days, because I purchased silver recently. I don't know why that would be an issue, because the silver isn't supposed to transfer. If I have to wait, I can't play Destiny until April 20th. If there's some way that Bungie can deactivate the cross save, PLEASE. My day is in playing Destiny it's the only thing I have now. I'm 67 years old, a disabled veteran, I don't go anywhere, I don't see anyone, all I have is my online friends, and Destiny 2 is what I play. It's takes the pain from my life. Please if you can help, I beg you.

  • Just have to wait out the cooldown...as everyone else has. No biggie. Then you can redo the process

  • If the cross save would have WORKED.. I wouldn't be making this request. But it so totally unfair that I have to wait until April 20th simply for spending MONEY. I bought the silver for my PSN account, it doesn't get transferred to the PC. So how is it makes the difference? Fraud? No. I've been playing this game too long collected to much to be made to wait because the software created by Bungie didn't work for me.

  • There are other reasons it didnt work.. Silver doesnt cause it not to work....something was done incorrectly

  • So then why is it telling me: "You cannot deactivate cross save for 86 days because you purchased silver recently" ???

  • As bnghelp told you previously, you selected the wrong characters to cross save. You have to deactivate, wait the cooldown, and select the correct characters

  • Sorry but no I followed the prompts and read EVERYTHING about it. 1st: It never said anywhere in the instructions that if you purchased silver RECENTLY (like a week b4 I tried cross save), it would not let you deactivate the cross save. 2nd: Why does purchasing silver have anything to do with the deactivation, since the cross doesn't transfer the silver anyway. 3rd: When I asked which character I wanted to transfer, it wouldn't do anything at all... the screen simply wouldn't let me choose anything. So please tell me, that I'm going to have to wait now 86 days before I can deactivate the cross save, when it wasn't me who error, it was the cross save that caused the error.

  • At the bottom of the article, there is a Contact Help button. Use that to bring up a form, with which you can request your main cross-save account to be switched to PSN. Bungie goes through the requests during normal business hours Pacific Time and in the order received.

  • Again, thanks for your input, I did select the help section, but it just told me the same thing. I still cannot deactivate the cross save. Tho, Bungie says they can't, I for a fact know they can. It's just that they won't.

  • From what you just said, it is not clear whether or not you used the Contact Help form at the bottom of the article. It is true that there is a 90-day security lockout for Silver Purchases and cross-save reactivation. However, if you used the form and Bungie said they can't help you, then you would just need to wait the lockout to pass.
