A shotgun can’t one shot you from across the map A shotgun isn’t able to get a collateral. A regular shotgun doesn’t have a exotic perk. A Single pellet from a shotgun ( if somebody misses the shot) isn’t able to kill you. A shotgun, isn’t a weapon people depend on ALL game. A shotgun isn’t able to turn a average player into unbroken players. Literally the list can go on, this weapon is a problem.. Distance can simply counter a shotgun. Nothing but another Erentill can counter a Erentill.. I see you a lot defending the hell out of this gun lol. Are you that bad of a player Demon??

I enjoy shotguns. No denying that. You have to be capable to not die in close quarters or be able to aim while moving through the air. I'm not sitting in a rift overshielded with a backup plan Erentil or projection fuse field prep crouched. If you can't backpedaling and take a step to the left or right of where a Hunter committed his jump and shot, it says more about you than him. Everyone pulling out fusions as soon as they are losing any game mode is a travesty to what would otherwise be a decent balance. Even mountaintop doesn't have a reticle that takes up half the screen u just have to have someone's foot in.

With all the complaining, I’m sure Bungie is gonna have no choice but to look into a “fix.” It’ll probably be a range nerf, though. Players who want a range nerf, plus more bolt spread and backup plan removed are simply being biased, plain and simple.

Can’t believe it but I totally agree with you. I never wanted anything other than a minor range cap/nerf but they should definitely be a solid option in PvP still.

The player’s that want all those changes are just haters who main shotguns and snipers. They’re not gonna get all of that, trust me. You’re biased as well and you know it.

What else is there to main it’s either shotgun, sniper or fusion. It’s nothing inbetween because everything is kinetic ammo. Except trace but not many use them.

Depending on the build, an erentil can charge AND fire before most primaries are even capable of reaching their OPTIMAL ttk, meaning the ttk through spamming shots at max RoF and not even aiming, let alone the only primary weapons that can even operate within an erentils optimal range is a 4 round pulse and scouts

Then that’s your fault for having potato aim. It’s .83 seconds to fully charge it without backup plan. You can kill with sacred provenance in .67 seconds and 3 tap with spare rations in .80 seconds. Excuses is all i see

Potato aim? I have 54 accuracy with hand cannons and 84 with snipers 😂. Optimal ttk is rarely the ttk you get with primary’s...wayyyyy too many variable affecting accuracy: bloom, connections just to name a few.

No they’re not. Proper aim with fusions is aiming at the knees/feet, this helps with flinch

FYI, you don’t always have time to aim at someone’s feet in pvp. And when you get shot, sometimes your reticle can either go to the left or right due to flinch. If what you said were true, I’d have a lot more fusion rifle kills.
