I’ve had an urge to replay Paper Mario: TTYD lately. Sadly, my Gamecube controller doesn’t work.
Let’s hope the rumors about the new Paper Mario game are true, eh?

I've had to replace so many GameCube controllers by now. Not on account of them being bad, just that I've used them so much.

Same. One of the best consoles ever made. What I wouldn’t give for a 3rd entry in the Pokémon Cipher series! Or a new Mario Sunshine! Or another Kirby Air Ride! My latest controller works for most games, but the A button has a slightly delayed press, which makes timing blocks & action commands hard for Paper Mario. But, since, like, literally every other game I have works just fine with it, I have a hard time justifying going and buying a new one.
