Just use Dim or Ishtar. No need to bother with the postmaster then.

That's nice but when you play (for example Sundial/Gambit/Crucible/Strikes) and at the end it drop you quintilion things and then you play again and again and some exotic drop and after few more plays you go to the Tower and... you realize that the Postmaster is full of rare crappy sh**s you don't want to and that legendary items isn't there... That drove me mad every time time :D So as I said, this would be really handy because all rare items just wouldn't be there :D

With Dim and Ishtar you can drag them from the postmaster and dismantle them while out and about.
