Please disregard any old guides or walkthroughs from before Shadowkeep, as a lot of things have changed since then, including the forges. It's no longer required to open Gofannon and Izanami separately — all forges are unlocked after completing the introductory Black Armory quest. You can access them from the playlist node on the EDZ map. This playlist rotates between the forges daily.
