See, I could see that working more if the population had a drastic spike upwards. How to do that? Heck if I know...There are too many problems to tackle head on at once, so it would need to be one at a time. It's not like giving a little choice (illusion or not) hurts anyone. It's more about if the "choice power" makes sense given the situation. Right now? Probably not...numbers are probably "too low". Assuming the population grows? Absolutely. Heck even the whole "optional matchmaking for other activities" debacle, that happens on and off here, would have a better crack to be accepted and accomplished.
