I’ll say the moon was the one who shrouded the sensors that led to the attack. Or earth, since they’re on earth. The moon is a representative of evil/bad (I’m working on a big lore project that exposes the whole destiny plot line and this is part of it). The earth represents everyone awaiting rebirth so I’m not sure how that would tie into it The punishment is a speculation but probably something to do with taking away some of the “food” source such as light or complex life. Find a big celestial event that happened after the red war and that’s probably the effects of the punishment. I have no idea on the nine part but I know the moon represents bad and not counting Pluto, it’s the 9th celestial. Edit: oh yeah, factions. Inner and outer planets. The sun represents all good so maybe the closest to the sun are the good faction
