We can make the Golden Gun look like any weapon we want. It’s a manifestation of the Light and our only limitation is our own imagination.

So we’re currently in a state where the gun our golden gun manifests as is weaker than before? That actually tracks with how golden gun works in game vs before...

Sorry, I think you lost me there. If you’re talking about the Golden Gun being weaker now, that’s purely game mechanics and doesn’t reflect in lore. Golden Guns haven’t gotten any weaker in lore. Some Guardians are stronger in the Light than others and can use their Light with more power. For example, Ana Bray’s Golden Gun and Ikora Rey’s Nova Bomb are far stronger than those of other Guardians.

I’m talking about a nade launcher with the same level of sheer power as GG has compared to normal hand cannons. I want to essentially lob a small sun at my enemies 😁

Also, the Nova Bomb (which is commonly referred to as having the power of a Supernova) is basically a very extreme Light grenade. Comparing the Golden Gun to a regular hand cannon is more or less the same as comparing a Nova Bomb to a hand grenade. So Nova Bomb is our superpowered equivalent of a Light grenade launcher, just without a manifestation of a weapon like the Golden Gun. Now if we could launch multiple successive Nova Bombs… *flashbacks to the unlimited Nova Bomb PvP glitch*
