Something that you should definitely add to this list is Crosshair Placements; The second nature of always aiming at head level. Always ADSing at minimal distance to your target to decrease time acquiring target.
Honestly, just look up Th3Jez's video on "Destiny: A Sniper's Bible". This small series is extremely old- but literally applies to every weapon across any FPS you'll ever play. Anyone who is new to Destiny, and is looking to improve, watch this mini series immediately!
