I hate that I have to do this now but the only way to judge Bungie anymore is practically, based on what they can actually do with the resources they have left.
Based on that criteria, the stream was OK. Maybe I don’t want another horde mode activity, but at this point that’s all Bungie seems to be able to make, so I guess that’s just how it is. Based on what it looks like, it does look pretty cool. And at the very least if it turns out to be better than the Vex offensive, it will be an improvement
Definitely agree the weapons and armor they showed are so much better than this last season’s gear. The weapons especially I’m looking forward to grinding for.
As far as addressing community feedback, yes it would be nice to know they recognize there are issues but I completely understand why they wouldn’t. Any mention of the issues the community is bringing up is like playing with the pin on a hand grenade. Nothing they say at this point will make the community satisfied so why would they bring it up at all?
They aren’t going to remove Eververse, and they need to make more money than ever before to keep the team going, so it’s not like they can say “hey guys, we hear you, we are putting all the Eververse gear back in the game.” Anything short of that won’t be enough for the community, so I can see why they wouldn’t say anything.

I like your take on what I said. I was more referring to the state of EV not the fact that it’s around. They did address EV in the TWAB, but I don’t believe it is a very good fix personally. Yea I was judging the whole thing based on the expectations I have for then now. Expectations are pretty low after how poor the expansion has been thus far.

Oh yeah, I get you. I just think no matter what they do with eververse it’s simply not going to be enough to appease the community, so addressing it live (especially with how hamfistedly “jokey” they can be) is probably not high on their list of things to do.

It wasn’t horrible prior to the solstice event. Most people said it was from top to bottom in the best spot. It was fair because they were still charging for certain stuff, but our ability to get Brightdust was significantly better so we could get some decent stuff on reset and then just use silver to get those exclusives. It Bungie said the 2 ornaments they made for Whsiper paid for the entire Zero Hour missions. Then the amount they had that was costing us silver prior to solstice should pay for 3 more entire games 😂😂
