What he’s talking about (I think) is that bungie needs to focus on the community as a whole instead of being zeroed in on 1% of the playerbase because they’re making content for those guys, and that’s essentially setting the bar. What those guys can do is the standard for everyone and they really hurts the larger player base

They aren't making content for those people though, they are making it for the public masses. All the evidence and fact support this amd there is nothing to suggest they are tailoring it for streamers.

But what most people are saying is that, they look at what streamers are doing and saying that, how they play is the benchmark. If Krafty can beat a new raid in less than 24 hrs then the raid is too easy and they need to step it up next time. When that isn’t representative of the ability of the community. So it’s been a very slow creep to now you have things like undying title which albeit are very poorly designed but also require and insane amount of time dedication to accomplish. And for even a more than average destiny player you’d have to devote unreal amounts of time too it. And you have the problem of it being a grind that’s, been viewed from the lens of there will be (X) players who can do it so everyone can. It’s not a problem unique to destiny however.
