People should make up their mind whether the seasonal content is absolutely worthless or if Bungie are sinisterly utilizing FOMO. If they were using FOMO, we would be given content worth paying for for it's 3 month lifetime.

So do they have a plan to make up for the lost income from the growing number of people who won't continue to pay money just to rent a game? I don't have time to keep up, so I have no choice but to "miss out." The difference? I don't give a sh[b]i[/b]t. If Bungie wants to go the way of modern scare-tactic marketing, they can keep their game.

So that is no Excuse.

So you think it would be ok for the players to have to go buy additional hardware for their [b]console[/b], in order to continue playing a game?! You really think that makes total sense?! Lol It’s not a bs excuse, it’s why they can’t continuously expand. It would be an extremely poor business decision to only allow expansion to those who purchase additional hardware. That is my biggest compliant. I don't mind grinding, I don't mind playing. I just hate that sometimes things are only available for a certain season or for a time gated thing and if life happens, tough cookies. I can't stand that.

What would you actually miss out on though? the [b]only[/b] time limited things to this point are the Undying title ,vex offensive gear, and season pass items which were largely cosmetic, everything else can be earned at a later date. The Pit of Heresy and the Raid will still be around next season and the season after that presumably. Everyone is using FOMO as an excuse and jumping on the bandwagon for it

But Bungie openly uses this tactic. I recieved an email a few weeks ago attempting to entice me to buy shadowkeep, and the last part of their pitch is "Don't fear the Nightmares. Fear missing out." So no it's not just people jumping on a bandwagon, its literally what they are trying to do.
