Since Developers won’t do it, then Legislatures should ban MTX and force Developers to go back to the ole days of Gaming and only allow them to make a profit from their Game and Expansions alone.

Then I hope you're prepared to pay $80-90 for a base game, and at least 50% more for expansion content and DLC.
Then I hope you're prepared to pay $80-90 for a base game, and at least 50% more for expansion content and DLC.
I already pay $80-$90 bucks on Games when I buy their Limited Editions. I bought the $100 dollar edition of D2, $80 on the The Deluxe Edition of Forsaken/Annual Pass and $60 bucks for Shadowkeep/Season Pass. That’s $240 bucks I’ve spent on Destiny. Bungie has made their profits and to capitalize on MTX is greedy and an abuse of consumer’s money.

Those are collector's editions with physical extras. Without microtransactions, the standard edition of base games that you'd buy on a digital platform would need to be priced at least $80 to recoup development costs.

The engrams that you get from playing the game? Then yes, they do grant loot.

But they don't provide any of the cool new stuff, so there's less incentive for users to engage in gambling. Again, it's a step in the right direction, even if they unfortunately do still exist.
