Or
2. Get a different modem that isn’t Technicolor (or Thomson) brand. These 2 are well-known for not conforming to industry standards & use a necessary port for its own use.

Thanks dude, I managed to get the admin access to my modem and followed the instruction in the post. Everything seems to be working fine now, I finally got passed that jumpship (LIKE FINALLY!!!).
