I don't get it. People & Democrats were fine with him & his long history of racism, right up until he became a Republican & ran against them.
So it is ok when he is on your (general you, not you, OP, specifically) side, but it is wrong when he joins the opposition? That makes about as much sense as hating someone for their skin color, oh wait.......

So... we should just ignore this guy's history of racism and islamaphobia? You serious "hoss"?
-
First off, don't be a dick. You don't say Hoss and obviously don't get it, so don't try to be an asshat with an assumption you made. If you want to know what it means, then ask, that simple. Second, please show me where I said anything about that. I will wait, because you can't, due to the fact that I never said that & you are trying to make this something you can defend. When he was a Democrat, they were willing to ignore it because it suited their needs & that is the only point I made. If you can't stick to that, then stay silent.
-
If you dont have any relevant point to make, please stay out of the discussion. This isnt about "sides". It'a about one person's moral coruptness. Nobody on this post said anything about being on his side. You bringing up such a point, is irrelevant.
-
What I said was relevant & you are just to butthurt to admit it because you can't defend it. Relevant, folks were fine with his bs that you are talking about before he went Republican & became President. Relevant, the fact that now he switched sides & became President, his bs is suddenly wrong.
-
Nope. His bs was ALWAYS wrong. And please point out the part in my post where I said it was ok when he was a Democrat? Or when ANYBODY said anything like that? Also, he got his outrage in the form of court cases and such, sooo... yeah. NOT relevant.
-
First, you point where I said you in particular. Maybe try reading, because I even put it in parentheses that it was a general you & not you in particular. Second, you are talking about something that was accepted by a group of people as long as he was on their side, so yeah, that is relevant, because, as I said, no one raised any cry about it until he switched sides, which is once more, relevant to what you said, no matter how much you claim it is not. Folks will see your post and decide it is a Leftist post against Trump & you have nothing up there claiming otherwise, nor are you condemning the Democrats who suckled at his teat all those years.
-
Edited by PTheGamer: 11/25/2019 9:05:38 PMEh. Point stands youre trying to make this a partisab issue when it wasnt one. Still irrelevant.
-
I do have fact backing up this post. Says "try reading", when he cant even read the linked article... *facepalm*
Wow, you really can't read. Where did I say you did not have facts? I never once said you did not have facts. I guess you are facepalming yourself, because yeah, you either can't read or you lack reading comprehension.

Nobody was fine with him, New York couldn't stand him. Its simply that nobody really knew, and his supporters don't care. Heck, a lot of people didn't care about politics before he became president. Myself included.
-
All I have seen over the years is people kissing his ass. I never saw any negative media about him until he started running as a Republican.
-
The only thing I've associated him with is the "you're fired" meme. Though, future Biff from Back to the Future was based off him. Plus some Sesame Street skits. So he must've had some kind of reputation that was less than glamorous.
-
People fawned all over him & the Democrats kissed his ass. I am not saying that he was not hated by some, but the man had a ton of good press & good will from a lot of the people trying to crucify him.
-
Other than the Clintons, who?
-
Hoss, it was everywhere, especially in the 80's & early 90's. If you want/need specifics, you would have to dig them up.
-
I did do a little digging, all that came up were the Clintons. He was affiliated with the Democrat party, however the same can be said for Republicans. Ass kissing, on the other hand, I cannot track down for the life of me.
-
You would have to find the talk shows, the award shows & the news spots of him being treated like royalty by folks. As for the Clintons, I did not find out about their connection until he ran against Hillary, so I guess maybe that says more about the different media coverage in different areas.
-
Perhaps. I never really heard about Trump until he ran for the election. But then again I never cared about that stuff until Mueller's investigation began. You can thank Trump for me being a pain in the ass in political topics :)
-
LMAO! Hoss, he was such a media darling as I was growing up. Seemed like he was on every talk show, involved in every beauty pageant, waving his tiny hands & moving that tiny mouth that gapes like a fish out of water.
